This chapter lists what you need before installing Pmd.
- Operating system: macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later.
- Chip: Apple silicon and Intel (universal binary).
- Network: Not required to read local files. Activation, trial, renewal, and opening the purchase or help pages need a network connection.
- Permissions: The app runs in the sandbox and only uses files or folders you choose in a system panel.
Launch Pmd.app. Do not run the binary inside the bundle by itself.
