3. Install and first launch

This chapter covers installing the subscription build or the lifetime build and what you see the first time.

  1. Open the disk image from P-MIX (Pmd_1.00.dmg for subscription, Pmd_1.00-L.dmg for lifetime).
  2. Drag Pmd into Applications.
  3. Open Pmd from Launchpad or Applications.
If macOS says the developer cannot be verified, confirm the package is notarized. You can also Control-click the app in Finder and choose Open.

The first launch follows the system language (Chinese, Japanese, or English). You can change it later in the Language menu. If the app is not activated, the activation window appears. You can close it and still open a folder to read.
