This chapter explains how to activate the subscription build and the lifetime build, how trial works, and how to move to another Mac.
Subscription build (version 1.00)
- Choose Activate… in the Help menu, or click the key icon in the top bar.
- Enter your email and click Send code.
- Enter the code from the email and click Verify and sign in.
- If a trial is available, click Start trial. The trial lasts 7 days from the day you start it, with all features.
- If the account already has a subscription, click Activate to bind this Mac.
Lifetime build (version 1.00-L)
Enter the serial number that starts with PMD and click Activate. Sign-in is not required.
Devices and offline use
- Each license binds 1 Mac by default. If the limit is reached, unbind a device under My account › Devices on the website, then activate again.
- The license token is stored in the Keychain. An activated license still works offline. A network failure does not clear it.
- The app refreshes the token using server time. After a subscription expires, a grace period keeps every feature available.
