This chapter names each area of the main window so the later steps are easier to follow.
- Top bar: Traffic lights and the sidebar button on the left, the current file name in the middle. On the right: Read / Edit, Open Folder, Open File, New, Save, Export, Activate, and Language.
- Sidebar: Folder name, search field, Name / Content scope, file list or search hits, and recent folders.
- Reading pane: Rendered Markdown. Zoom commands are in the View menu.
- Source pane: Monospaced editor with formatting buttons.
- License banner: Shown under the top bar when unlicensed or in the grace period. The whole row is clickable and OK opens the purchase page.
Closing the window remembers its size. Click the Dock icon or Window › Show Window to bring the main window back.
