This chapter shows how to open a folder or a single file and how the sidebar lists documents.
- Click the folder icon in the top bar, or press ⇧ + ⌘ + O, and choose a folder that contains Markdown.
- Allow file access when macOS asks. The sandbox stores a bookmark so the same folder can open again later.
- Click a file in the sidebar to read it, or press ⌘ + O to open one file.
- You can also drop files or folders onto the window.
When you use Open With in Finder, Pmd opens that file instead of only showing the welcome screen. Hidden files are not listed.
